Thank you for dropping by!  My name is Mindy Lee George and I've been writing poems since I was just a little girl. This past year I have met some pretty special people who have helped me see that I have talent!  To me, my writing was always just my feelings on paper - but these people saw talent.  They encouraged me and gave me the confidence to believe in myself and suggested I write my own book of poems.  After all what did I have to lose?  Nothing - so I did it.  My book is called "Catching Rainbows - Poems From The Heart" because as my Idol, Dolly Parton, once said "If you want to have the rainbow, you've gotta put up with the rain".  I took the quote from Dolly and wrote a poem and later put music to it and wrote a song about dreams coming true.  It's called "The Rainbow" and I'm one of the many people out there who believes that dreams really do come true.
